They make plug0in hybrids that are supposed to come out in 2010. Pretty simular to Tesla.

The DOE just gave them a half billion dollar loan.

    Awesome!

Anyone thinks that there's a change of the guard where it comes to automobile manufacturing?

It definalty seems that the Obama administration is serious about alternative fuel vehicles. They have been funding lots of different alt fuel companies.

In 2010 there are lots of electric, plug-in, and other alt fuel cars coming out from different companies. I don't know if it's a changing of the guard but the field is getting more players, which can only be a good thing for innovation. I really like Fisker and Tesla, I am interested to see how the Volt does also.

of coarse he's all about it. Ever realize his advisers are all now or ex-central banker donations? It's a money and a power grab so there can be a wal-mart of alternative fuels.

It's like watching a re-run, if your on the right side of history.

Ya, Obama is bought and paid for. But at least he is serious about trying to get us to switch to alternative fuels; so you take the bad with the good.
